Butterfly Park KL
|
|
Went to Butterfly Park in KL on the last Tuesday. It is just a small park but a nice place for family outing. Brought my 105VR with me. I thought shooting macro of those butterflies there is easy. How wrong I was. Out of almost 100 shots, only one that I could say is OK......just OK
Technical wise was easy but trying to look for good composition was a very difficult job.
Example of one horrible shot.....this one is OOF a bit....  (yeah....despite the VR)
There were non-butterfly too....

My trip to India

The pic I posted earlier is the pic of Taj Mahal 
I went to India recently. A very exciting trip. Me & two of my orthopaedic surgeon friends went to Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh. About 400 km from New Delhi.
We stayed one night in Delhi before flying to Khajuraho. In Khajuraho, we stayed at Radisson Hotel. Nice hotel.
This is the aerial view of Khajuraho.
Khajuraho is famous for its temples.
The temples are full with erotic sculptures.....that I won't put them here  Can see them in my flickr tho'. But it is 18SX & bachelors are not encourage to view them.
After the conference, we flew back to Delhi.

We stayed one more night in Delhi. We visited India Gate & the surrounding areas.
Had a great briyani with chicken tandoori at a muslim restaurant there. Can still remember its taste! But forgot to snap picture until all gone....lapar ma...
The next day we went to Agra, to see one of the seven wonders of the world, Taj Mahal.
We travelled by car to Agra. It was one h*** of an experience. If you wanna drive in India, you need three things, said our driver. Good horn, good brake....and good luck.
We reached Agra four hours later. Paid Rs750 to see Taj mahal but I tell you.....its the best scenery I have ever seen in my life!!
About noon, we just saw Agra or Red Fort, where Shah Jahan was prisoned, from outside as the time was so short. Then we headed back to Delhi to catch our flight back to Malaysia. We had to be in Indira Gandhi Airport early because security check is a serious matter in India.
Alhamdulillah, by Subuh the other day, we landed at KLIA!
p/s Oh btw, one of our scientific poster was chosen as the best poster at the conference. Congrat to Dr Amin.....
